Description
This summer I was lucky enough to work with Blind Summit, an amazing puppet theater company. They make mostly Bunraku style puppets, but of all shapes and sizes. 'Faeries' was on at the Claw theater at the Royal Opera house and at the Egg in Bath.
This is one of two dragonflys that were made as collaborative work under the expert supervision of Nick Barnes (one of blind summits founders). I did a lot of the external fabrication of these including painting.
I'm still working with Blind Summit and I hope as time goes on I'll be trusted with more responsibilities. I love it there.
(PS: there doesn't seem to be a puppetry category?)

Woow no way!! this is freaky...my brother worked on that show...he was one of the dancers/puppeteers...and i know that guy in the photo too!! This is too weird...i was looking at your skellig skulpture and thought it was beautiful, so i thought i'd check out the rest of your works and there they is...the amazing puppets from Faeries...what a small world.
