This summer I was lucky enough to work with Blind Summit, an amazing puppet theater company. They make mostly Bunraku style puppets, but of all shapes and sizes. 'Faeries' was on at the Claw theater at the Royal Opera house and at the Egg in Bath.
These three chaps were collaborative work under the expert supervision of Nick Barnes (one of blind summits founders). I worked mainly on carving/shaping/sculpting the limbs and bodies. while the very talented Paul Vincett ([link]) sculpted the skinny green one's head.
I'm still working with Blind Summit and I hope as time goes on I'll be trusted with more responsibilities. I love it there.
(PS: there doesn't seem to be a puppetry category?)
Wonderful stuff and what agreat oppurtunity for you! I was introduced to Paul Vincett and his work via My Space. Nice fellow and extremely talented. I wish I lived there and could work with him as well!
