Itool the Faun by Nectarine Itool the Faun by Nectarine
(yes, I know, its Dobbin, but that name never suited him and my mum's written a story around him and named him Itool.)

I just uploaded this because I wanted everyone to know that I finally filmed some footage of him in action.

We ended up using him as a bunraku style puppet as in reality he's just to heavy to make a good marionette, plus the art of marionette manipulation is such a fine skill that it's best left up to a master. Ben, Mikey and Iestyn in the video are experienced puppeteers, mostly using rods and bunraku style puppets. Hope you enjoy it:

Great vid- and I LOVE Goldfrapp and that was the perfect choice to accompany this video. Those folks are wonderful puppeteers- of course faun remains my favorite piece of yours to date. Not sure about that name though- it reads aloud like a new tool for Macs...

OMFG!!! You cut the strings of this BEAUTIFUL creature??? TT___TT
I´´m sorry for him.
Otherwise, as long as you´re knowing the nest how to use him,it´s cool that your faun has a use. ^^
